Sacramento Kings: NEW LOOK
Reported By: Mark Keegan
Date: August 25th, 2012
Letter from the GM, Geoff Petrie .
I am proud to say, the Sacramento Kings are officially. From a rocky start and me coming in fixing things up, making moves, getting fan support, etc. it was a very short process getting this team in the right direction. I just know that this team will grow for years to come and I welcome all the new-comers from the starting five to the bench. Thank you to the fans of Sacramento for sticking with me during this process, I hope you enjoy what you'll get in future.
Terrence Williams takes the first flight out to SAC.*
Terrence Williams: Man, I'm just glad to be here. I love Sacramento and it feels like home. The fans welcome me warmly and the bond this teams hows on my first day in was like family. As you can see, I've already hit the gym and been on the floor with the rest of the guys trying to get acclimated to their style of play.
Reporter: How do you feel about the way this team has re-invented themselves with each trade and each move before this one?
Terrence Williams: I think they made the right moves, although I do wish Big Baby Bynum was still here because I'm a huge fan but the team we have now is young, fast, talented and athletic as ever. All we need to do is just bond and grow as a team and build are chemistry going forward.
Reporter: What do you think you will bring to this team?
Terrence Williams: Well, I'm only 25 I have a long ways but I'm fast, quick and I can do just about everything a Coach asks for on the floor. My range is not a probably, I defend well and I can bang down-low with the best but what I do want to bring most of all is leadership.

Headline Quote from Sacramento Kings Point Guard, Brandon Knight.*
" Yeah, I'm ready to live up to what everyone though I would be.
I'm ready to start growing as a person, with a good group of guys who want the same thing.
I know for a fact that this organization can help bring out the best in me and my game. Go Kings Baby ... "
