Obvious choice would be 82 games but if you're looking for a shorter season then 58 games is your best bet.

58..
Play-offs already gonna be long as fuck for the teams that don't make it.. I say make it 58 so if you have a bad ssn you don't have to wait years to get to next ssn.

Let's do the math:
6 months per REG ssn = 24 weeks
Gehad is doing 1 week per 2 days so thats: - 24 x 2 = 42 irl days for reg ssn
Play-offs like 2 months borderline 3? That = 8-9 more weeks (ill go with 8) - 8 x 2 = 16 days for playoffs..
1 month? Try 2.

Yea 58 games, unless you simulate games more often than 1 week per 2 days.
If we do 82 games, you should do 1 week per day, that'll make it 12 days for reg season + 8 days for playoffs.
About 20 days each reg/post season, and then we could do 5 days for off-season.
Do the math and we'd finish about 5 seasons in about 5 months, opposed to about 5 seasons in almost a year

Doing 1 week everyday is alot of work. But, on the weekends i may sim a week per day. Also @ Riley, Playoffs will be posted differently. I'm going to do it like this -
All first round Game 1s will be posted. Then every 2 hours, i'll post their next games, ect. This format will also be used for conf fin, finals, ect.
Playoffs should take about 2-3 days.

Nvm, MTB explained it to me. Ssn gonna take like 45 days either way.
It's just less games per week if you do 58 but still the same amount of weeks.
